Hourly rate: £16.63 to £18.04 per hour, includes annual leave element

Location: Based – County Hall, Chichester, working at various location across the county.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Minibus Assessor to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, instruction, and assessments for individuals who operate minibuses as part of their roles within businesses, schools, community groups, and other organisations.
You will play a key role in ensuring drivers meet safety and compliance standards, promoting confidence and competence behind the wheel. Whether it’s new drivers requiring their initial assessment or experienced drivers needing a refresher, your expertise will support safer roads and communities.

You will be a skilled communicator and influencer, with the ability to work with a wide range of learning styles and levels of experience.
You will have excellent coaching, negotiation, class room presentation, and practical simulation skills, and a proactive, flexible and innovative approach to delivery.
You will create a healthy and engaging work environment by building trusting and supportive relationships, encouraging development, recognising achievement and monitoring, challenging or reporting under performance during the course.
You will need a sound level of practical knowledge and relevant health and safety knowledge.
Flexibility is key to work on a casual basis, often on short notice, including during school terms or business hours.
