Fire Protection Co-ordinator – Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service
Fire Protection Co-ordinator
Full-Time: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Fixed Term: 24 Months

NFRS are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented co-ordinator to join our Fire Protection department. This function provides a vital role in keeping the communities of Nottinghamshire safe by working to ensure buildings meet the requirements of fire safety legislation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Targeted Building Risk Team, providing them with high quality, efficient and professional administration support. As the Fire Protection co-ordinator, you will be at the heart of our Fire Protection team supporting us to maintain vital data systems, co-ordinating meetings, transcribing PACE interviews and providing administrative assistance as we engage and manage some of the most complex premises in the county.

Responsibilities
- Maintain, update and cleanse building risk data using the CFRMIS database.
- Provide high quality administration support – respond to enquiries, co-ordinate meetings, support event planning and manage diaries.
- Assist the department with their legal duties, such as transcribing interviews conducted under PACE.
- Work with our Fire Protection support team to update content on our website and intranet and ensure guidance and process documents remain up to date.
- Undertake the inputting, retrieving, interpreting and interrogating of data to support the Fire Protection management team.
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office/365 packages.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience providing administrative support (e.g. answering the telephone, dealing with correspondence, managing diaries, minute taking and updating records).
- Ability to prioritise own work.
- Experience using and managing databases.
- Report writing.
- Knowledge of GDPR.
- Level 2 Maths & English.
