Enforcement Officer – Investigator LLRAP Team – London Fire Brigade

Are you an experienced enforcement professional with strong investigative and legal coordination skills?

We are seeking a Enforcement Investigation Officer to lead the development of complex enforcement cases and help drive compliance in high-risk residential settings.

Working within the London Remediation Accelerated Plan (LRAP) team, you will be responsible for managing enforcement activity from initial investigation through to legal action. You will liaise with internal legal teams and external solicitors, oversee evidence gathering and case file preparation, and oversee processessing of enforcement documentation including Article 27 letters, Enforcement Notices and Remediation Orders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust, proportionate enforcement action is taken where voluntary compliance is not achieved.

The successful candidate will have experience applying technical legislation and standards, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to prepare legally robust reports and correspondence. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping to improve fire safety standards, reduce risk to residents, and hold responsible persons accountable for delivering necessary remediation works.

We welcome applications from motivated professionals who are committed to public safety, professional excellence, and delivering positive outcomes through effective enforcement.
