Area Fire Safety Manager (LLRAP) – London Fire Brigade

Are you an experienced fire safety professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for improving building safety across London?

The London Fire Brigade is seeking a Remediation Fire Safety Manager to provide strategic leadership for the delivery of the London Remediation Acceleration Plan (LRAP). This is a high-profile role responsible for coordinating activity across the Brigade, the Greater London Authority, local authorities, and key external partners to ensure remediation programmes are delivered effectively and in line with agreed objectives.

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of Fire Engineers, External Wall Specialists and Remediation Support Officers, driving performance, setting priorities and ensuring the successful delivery of programme outcomes. You will represent the team at senior stakeholder meetings, including Key Account Meetings (KAMs), provide strategic advice on complex remediation matters, and oversee performance monitoring and reporting.

The successful candidate will have significant experience leading teams, managing performance, engaging with senior stakeholders, and delivering complex programmes. A strong understanding of fire safety legislation, building construction, and remediation challenges is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in making London’s residential buildings safer while contributing to one of the most significant building safety programmes in the country.
