The National Federation of Cypriots in the UK is seeking to employ 1 full-time individual to support the Federation to deliver its goals. The Federation's goals include:
- Spearheading the UK Cypriot community's efforts to promote the cause of a reunited Cyprus, free from Turkish occupation troops, for the benefit of all Cypriots.
- Coordinating the work of UK Cypriots in political, social, cultural and educational spheres.
- Engaging with the British Government, Parliamentarians and media stakeholders to lobby for and articulate the interests and concerns of the Cypriot community in the United Kingdom.
Key skills required:
- Strong professional with proven planning and organisational skills.
- Fluent in English and Greek with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of proficiency with social media and Microsoft Office; familiarity with graphic design.
- Knowledge of, and interest in, British politics and the Cyprus issue.
Package consists of up to £28,800 p.a. (pro-rated) + expenses. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be available for interview in London in June. Application is via email.
