Engineering Supervisor – Bournemouth
Are you a hands‑on leader with a passion for safety, teamwork, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our Bournemouth depot and take the lead in ensuring our vehicles – and engineering team – are operating at their best.

What you’ll do:
As Engineering Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our daily engineering operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, MOTs, modifications and refurbishments using our Maximo system
- Ensuring our vehicles are safe, serviced, and ready for the road
- Managing the vehicle planning board and allocating workloads to the team
- Reviewing and approving vehicle maintenance documentation before vehicles return to service
- Acting as the key point of contact for contractors and warranty repairs
- Supporting parts management and monthly stock checks
- Communicating daily with the Operations team and representing Engineering in cross‑department meetings
- Deputising for the Engineering Manager when required
What you’ll need:
- Experience leading engineering teams (essential)
- Hands‑on workshop experience – ideally in a heavy goods or commercial vehicle setting (essential)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and safety standards (essential)
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills (essential)
- IOSH qualification (desirable)
- CPC qualification or a willingness to obtain one (desirable)
