Warehouse Team Manager – Meat Production (Day Shifts) Location: Winsford Shift Pattern: Days | 42 hours per week I\’m currently recruiting for a fantastic Warehouse Team Manager position with one of the UK\’s leading food distribution and processing businesses-this role is based at a busy, fast-moving meat production site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-pressure, hands-on environment and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring daily operational success, leading from the front to motivate and guide your team while driving efficiency, safety, and performance. What You\’ll Be Doing Leading a team within the warehouse to meet daily KPIs across productivity, safety, and quality Delivering shift briefs, allocating tasks, and maintaining strong team engagement Creating action plans to improve standards, reduce costs, and enhance performance Coaching and developing your team to support progression and talent growth Monitoring performance against targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and pest control standards are always met Supporting a positive, safe, and well-organised working environment across the shift We\’re Looking For Someone With Supervisory/management experience in a warehouse or production setting – ideally within meat or fresh food manufacturing A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage large teams Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills Experience with performance metrics, cost management, and compliance standards A positive mindset, a strong work ethic, and a drive to deliver results The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unionised environment What\’s In It For You Competitive salary Excellent progression opportunities within a growing national business 15% store discount, plus an additional 10% for a friend or family member Bonus scheme, long service awards, and enhanced family leave Healthcare & well-being support, including access to a digital GP Subsidised canteen and free on-site parking A chance to work with a highly respected and supportive leadership team This is a fantastic role for someone with experience in fresh or meat-based warehouse operations who is ready to lead, motivate, and make a real impact.
