Responsibilities
- Full knowledge of vehicle types held at the garage.
- Recognise the importance of 'Right bus - Right Route'.
- Communication between Operations and Engineering departments is essential.
- Act as a liaison between Operations and Engineering to ensure the correct buses are allocated.
- Liaise with engineering supervisor regarding buses under repair.
- Assist in vehicle changeovers.
- Reduce Engineering and Operations lost mileage where possible.
Qualifications
- Full PCV license - as driving on the road will be required.
- Knowledge of the bus industry is an advantage.
- Good general standard of education.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a problem-solving attitude.
- Be able to work towards and meet strict deadlines.
Working Hours
Week 1 will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Midnight - 08:00am. Week 2 will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Midnight - 08:00am.
