National Express have an exciting opportunity to join a sales focused team, as a Sales Representative working Airside in London Stansted Airport. With a strong knowledge of our products you will proactively sell National Express coach tickets to drive revenue growth for the company. You will work towards personal and team daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets contributing to potential On Target Earning of £34,000 per annum. You will use your own initiative to deliver exceptional customer service, resolving customer enquiries, in line with the vision and values of National Express.
This is a Full Time position working an average of 38 hours per week. Shifts will be between 06:00am and 02:45am, an average of 4 days a week. Successful applicants will be invited to attend an onsite assessment on Tuesday 25th March.
An Airside Pass will need to be obtained to work airside, minimum requirements for the pass are:
- Evidenced 5 years continuous employment history (breaks in employment are acceptable providing they can be evidenced)
- A valid IDDBS Certificate
What you’ll need…
- Experience of front-line customer service with face to face Sales Experience
- English language skills
- Positive attitude to customer service and personal development
- Ability to work in a team or unassisted on your own initiative
- Good levels of stamina is required as you will need to be available to assist customers for long periods of time
- The ability to work shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays to meet business demands.
What You’ll Do …
- Look for opportunities and proactively up-sell National Express services and ancillary products, using sales techniques to close each sale transaction, competing with other operators within the vicinity
- Consistently deliver an excellent standard of customer service at all times
- Effectively and accurately communicate information to customers regarding service updates and disruption
- To be fully competent in the use of the relevant ticketing accepting both cash and card
- Adhere to processes and procedures necessary to fulfil the role
