National Express has a great opportunity to join our internationally known company as a Mechanical Support in our Coventry Garage. As a key member of the team, your role will involve assisting with vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. You should have a mechanical interest, previous experience, a manual car driving licence, and a PCV licence is desirable. The role requires drive to succeed and a passion to work days, evenings, and nights, including weekends and weekday shifts.
What you'll do:
- Manage service duties through bus allocations, changeovers, and garage plans.
- Carry out routine services such as oil changes efficiently to manufacturer and specialist standards.
- Conduct road wheel changes.
- Repair minor defects as needed.
- Maintain all documentation according to company procedures.
- Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Fire Regulations.
