Join National Express West Midlands as a Bus Driver – Now Paying £15.55 to £19.00 per Hour
We’re offering new, increased pay rates for experienced PCV licence holders:
- £19.00/hour – 3+ years’ proven PCV (Bus and Coach Only) driving experience
- £17.02/hour – 2+ years’ proven PCV (Bus and Coach Only) driving experience
- £15.55/hour – less than 2 years PCV (Bus and Coach Only) driving experience
Location: Walsall Garage
As a professional driver, you\’ll provide safe, reliable transport and excellent customer service across the West Midlands.
Operation Hours: We operate 7 days a week, 3am until 2am.
Schedule: Any 5 days from 7 including a variety of early, late, and occasional night shifts. Rotas are set in advance to support your work-life balance.
What you’ll need
- Full UK PCV Licence (Category D)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum age: 18

As a Professional Bus Driver with National Express West Midlands, you will be providing the very best customer service, whilst safely transporting our customers across the region.
You will be expected to work any 5 days out of 7. We do not operate any set days or shift patterns – rest days and working days will vary week to week but rotas are set out in advance to help you plan.
Your shift can start as early as 3am and finish as late as 2am, although most shifts start later and finish earlier than this. There are a small number of night shifts.
