The predicted salary is between 20 - 26 £ per hour.
Successful applications will benefit from a joining bonus of up to £3,000. We have challenging opportunities across the West Midlands for multi-skilled technicians to join our Engineering Team.
Location: Yardley Wood
Schedule: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend Day
Shifts: Days to start at 8am or Afternoons to start at 4pm
As an engineering technician, you will manage the overall maintenance of our vehicles including inspection, repair, diagnosis, accident repair and general servicing, whilst championing an inclusive working environment for all. We are dedicated to the development of our engineers and encourage your ongoing career progression and skills development through our engineering training team. By joining our Technician team, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of vehicle types, including electric and diesel vehicles, using cutting-edge diagnostic technology. You will be part of our dedicated engineering team who work behind the scenes to deliver our vehicles reliably and safely to our customers - helping keep our local communities connected.
What you will need…
- IMI Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering & Maintenance or Equivalent (including Heavy Vehicles)
- Proven experience of working in a large vehicle maintenance environment, including electric vehicles (Ideal)
- A Full CAT D PCV licence or willingness to work towards [for road testing as required]
- A passion for continuous improvement and personal development
- Flexibility to work different shift patterns as business requirements dictate
