You will be the engine behind our UK Coach payrolls, ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, every time. This role is about more than just data entry. It is about maintaining trust, staying ahead of legislation, and managing the financial heartbeat of our operation for circa 1,500 employees. This role is based in Birmingham on a hybrid basis with an expectation of being on-site 3 days per week.
What you will do
- Master the Payroll: Prepare, process, and complete weekly and monthly payrolls while strictly adhering to data protection and legislation.
- Pension Specialist: Lead the auto enrolment process and prepare accurate pension submission files for the Worksave Scheme.
- Liaise with HMRC: Submit RTI reports, download tax codes, and reconcile monthly PAYE payments to keep us compliant.
- System Expert: Work with our systems team to test enhancements and ensure a consolidated approach to payroll deadlines.
- Support the Team: Assist employees with pay queries and self service access, providing a human touch to our technical processes.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Handle Group and Senior payrolls with the highest level of discretion.
