In 2026, the Procurement Centre of Excellence team is expanding and we are seeking a Procurement Systems and Compliance Lead to embed, optimise and continuously improve Ivalua, ensuring it delivers the right processes, controls and insights for the wider Procurement & Property team and the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert in Ivalua for Procurement & Property, overseeing upgrades and patches and managing issues or amendments.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including the P2P team, to ensure seamless cross‑over activity between systems.
- Provide first‑line technical and user support for the e‑procurement system, ensuring continued service and development.
- Coordinate engagement with second‑line technical support to maintain and enhance system performance.
- Act as the Procurement Champion, supporting the development of new e‑procurement solutions, particularly AI bots, to improve efficiency, oversight and reporting.
- Drive compliance, embedding governance across Procurement and maintaining documentation.
- Support all internal and external audit activities, leading attestation checks to ensure compliance.
- Maintain the Centre of Excellence Risk Register, recording risks, reviewing them, escalating appropriately and assigning mitigation actions.
- Perform the Control Operator role for assigned RACM controls, executing control testing and following up on outcomes.
- Manage the Conflict‑of‑Interest process, keeping policies current and training the procurement team on compliance and automation improvements.
- Analyse procurement performance data, identify improvement opportunities and recommend actions to the Head of Procurement Centre of Excellence.
- Support scoping and delivery of performance improvement projects, collaborating with stakeholders to plan effective implementation and adoption.
- Coordinate with procurement software providers such as D&B, Moody’s and Achilles to ensure effective system performance, compliance and service delivery.
- Update procurement policies, standard operating procedures and terms of reference as required, supporting the Head of Procurement Centre of Excellence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including PA23, UCR, Competition Law, Fraud & Bribery, Modern Slavery, Conflict Minerals and Real Living Wage in Supply Chain.
- Train stakeholders on best‑practice procurement processes across the wider NESO business.
About You
- Expert knowledge of end‑to‑end procurement processes and operating models.
- Experience working with e‑procurement systems such as Ivalua, SAP S4Hana, Coupa or Oracle.
- Experience in Public Sector Procurement is desirable.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies, especially AI, and their application in procurement.
- Understanding of best‑practice procurement policies, processes and systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to build a business case for change.
- Good communication and project management skills.
What You’ll Get
Competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000, dependent on experience and capability.
