As we continue to expand our efforts, we are excited to be seeking a passionate and motivated Partnership Manager to join our team.
Our Partnership Manager role will supplement our expansion of our Better Housing Better Health service into Wales. As a Partnership Manager at NEF, you will play a vital role in building and nurturing strong relationships with organisations in the health, charitable, and domestic energy sectors as part of our Better Housing Better Health service. Collaborating with industry stakeholders, you will identify partnership opportunities and lead initiatives to support vulnerable residents living in cold homes. Your work will directly contribute to NEF's mission of advancing energy efficiency and reducing fuel poverty across the UK.
Alongside this, you could be delivering awareness sessions or training to public health or voluntary sector organisations or the public; certainly, you’ll be representing NEF at public meetings and events. This role is very much about communication and people, but you’ll also need to be organised, diligent and able to navigate various systems and processes. It would be beneficial to be based in Wales for ease of travel across the project area but applications from other areas will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and manage partnerships with local frontline support organisations, housing providers, health organisations, and stakeholders in the domestic energy sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring their continued engagement and alignment with NEF's goals.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, track key metrics, and report progress to senior management.
- Serve as a liaison between NEF and external partners, facilitating effective communication and ensuring mutual understanding.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation to enhance the impact of NEF's programmes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in energy efficiency, supply chain management, housing, health, and the domestic energy sectors.
- Proven experience in partnership management, preferably within the charity, energy, housing, or health sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing complex projects.
- Current DBS check (or willingness to undertake one with NEF to reimburse the expense).
- Ability to work outside of office hours, by arrangement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word and Dynamics365.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence and use of a car with business insurance cover, flexibility to travel to events for networking.
- Bilingual (Welsh and English).
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and knowledge of principles of safeguarding (training will be provided).
