We’ve worked across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland for over 40 years, to ensure that everyone can afford to live in a warm, healthy home. Millions of households across the UK still face high energy bills, low incomes and poor energy efficiency. We work with frontline practitioners, companies, regulators and governments, to support vulnerable clients, raise awareness and achieve enduring change. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Project Development Co‑ordinator working in the London area. You will play a key role in delivering NEA’s work programme across the region, leading on stakeholder engagement, community outreach and direct support to low‑income and vulnerable households. Travel within London and occasionally beyond will be required.
- Lead and deliver impactful projects during a critical time for household energy needs
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and community organisations
- Oversee project outputs, outcomes and reporting to funders
- Support the development of new programmes, including funding proposals and presentations
Your work will directly contribute to improving health, wellbeing and energy resilience for those most at risk.
Demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in energy efficiency, community development, housing, social policy or related fields.
An understanding of the environmental, social and economic challenges facing deprived communities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and produce high‑quality reports.
Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency (desirable).
This is a hybrid role based at NEA’s London office, with some national travel required to meet partners and attend events. Hybrid and home working is subject to necessary H&S and GDPR checks. Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be subject to a Standard DBS check.
11½% non-contributory pension. ~25 days annual leave plus 3 additional days in between Christmas New Year Period when our offices close; ~ All public holidays ~ Flexible working arrangements including hybrid working ~ Employee Assistance Programme.
