We are looking for a Local Campaigns Lead to lead on the delivery of local campaigns that aim to protect and improve provisions for deaf children.
What you'll do:
- Implement campaign plans to safeguard and improve local services for deaf children and young people.
- Advise colleagues on campaigning and influencing tactics to protect the services deaf children depend on.
- Build relationships with local voluntary and community sector groups, charities, social enterprises and other organisations.
- Produce and circulate written materials to engage key stakeholders in our campaigns.
- Identify emerging influencing opportunities based on local insight and support the delivery of targeted changes in line with our organisational strategy.
What you'll need:
- Solid knowledge of local Government, NHS, the voluntary and community sectors.
- Demonstrable success in changing public policy or law through either campaigning or influencing activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong digital skills and a willingness to embrace agile values & principles.
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
