We are looking for a Local Campaigns Lead to lead on the delivery of local campaigns that aim to protect and improve provisions for deaf children.

What you'll do

  • Implement campaign plans to safeguard and improve local services for deaf children and young people
  • Advise colleagues on campaigning and influencing tactics to protect the services deaf children depend on
  • Build relationships with local voluntary and community sector groups, charities, social enterprises and other organisations
  • Produce and circulate written materials to engage key stakeholders in our campaigns
  • Identify emerging influencing opportunities based on local insight and support the delivery of targeted changes in line with our organisational strategy

What you'll need

  • Solid knowledge of local Government, NHS, the voluntary and community sectors
  • Demonstrable success in changing public policy or law through either campaigning or influencing activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong digital skills and a willingness to embrace agile values & principles
  • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position)
