This is a high‑profile position at the heart of the Intelligence Directorate’s senior leadership team. NTAC is central to all NCA activity, both operational and enabling, and works closely with Intelligence, Investigations Command and Threat Leads. DD OIC Threat Leadership is responsible for driving an effective 4P response (Pursue, Prevent, Protect, Prepare) for Organised Immigration Crime threats, with a focus on small‑boat crossings. The post holder will lead and coordinate the operational response to threats through the OIC Domestic Taskforce, and collaborate with policing, UKIC, Home Office, NGOs and international partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Central Tasking Team, Regional Organised Crime Coordinators (ROCCs) and Federated Tasking Team to prioritise and task across the wider SOC System.
  • Manage and coordinate the United Kingdom Protected Persons Service (UKPPS), Central Authorities Unit (CAU), NCA Control Centre and other centralised intelligence functions.
  • Drive the operational system’s response to Organised Immigration Crime threats, including oversight of the OIC Domestic Taskforce.
  • Collaborate with policing, UKIC, Home Office, NGOs and international partners to shape the wider response.
  • Measure and report on the impact of UK and international activities to reduce threat.

Location: Birmingham, Bristol, London and Warrington. The role requires working at the office for a substantial proportion of the time and may also require regular travel to London.
