National Corporate Housing is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for its Housewares Division. Successful candidates must be safe drivers with proof of a clean driving record. This position requires the management of complete delivery and set-up of client corporate suites and temporary housing units/facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work along the Warehouse Manager to develop warehouse streamline processes.
- Keep track of warehouse inventory and report to the Warehouse Manager what is needed on a daily basis.
- Ensure warehouse and vehicles are clean and organized at all times.
- Take full responsibility of National's vehicles maintenance logs.
- Help train and onboard new associates in the field, showing them the National standard.
- Ensure proper organization and process flow is followed/implemented.
- Quality control in the field and in the warehouse, ensuring all apartments meet company standards.
- Achieve customer service scores of 95%.
- Vendor coordination when needed.
- Complete inspections that require a supervisor to complete.
- Take full responsibility for VIP clients and create and implement VIP SOPs.
- Prepare for what’s needed in the field for the following week.
- Package houseware for delivery or shipment.
- Clean, repair, and replace broken items and houseware in apartments when needed.
- Report maintenance issues or items needed in units.
- Complete set-up and layout of houseware/linen products, including housekeeping functions.
- Maintain inventory necessary to perform daily duties.
- Develop and maintain on-site relationships with customers, clients, and vendors.
- Daily communication with staff and flexibility for last-minute changes when the Warehouse Manager is away.
- Assist with branching out the Los Angeles market.
- Take on full responsibility of Realync; train existing associates, onboard new associates, and organise tracking of video needs.
- Ensure no modems get lost and are returned to the proper area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- B.S. or equivalent training in warehouse and supply chain management.
- 1-3 years warehouse/supply chain experience.
- Have a “whatever it takes” attitude toward customer satisfaction.
- Heavy lifting requirement of 50 lbs., with the ability to utilise a hand truck/dolly to load boxes weighing between 125-150 lbs. and transport up or down stairs leading to designated temporary housing units.
- Daytime travel around the city required.
- All employees are expected to have knowledge of National’s business units and established procedures and compliance rules pertinent to their positions.
