National Corporate Housing is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day to day sales and operations in the office. With their leadership, the office will build a strong market presence and continued customer loyalty. The selected person needs to have a professional image, strong communication and customer service skills.

National Corporate Housing is a multi-brand, global leader in providing temporary housing program management for global business travel and corporate relocations. National is one of the largest providers of temporary housing around the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and direct day to day operational office items
  • Direct staff when attention is needed to support OSCAR items and best practices
  • Oversee billing for accuracy to include furniture, housewares, utilities, waste removal, and other areas as assigned
  • Oversee the efficient set up and break down of apartments
  • Inspect apartments as needed
  • Ensure office phone coverage is supported by office staff when needed
  • Support bad weather communication as needed
  • Coordinate office on-call calendar; participate in the on call phone rotation
  • Develop and maintain property relationships for best rental options
  • Share property policy adjustments as they are discovered
  • Ensure unit bills are set up and account numbers are shared with sites where required in advance; ensure all utility bills for unit service are established each month in support of new units & disconnects are scheduled in advance or as needed, but never delayed.
  • Train Customer Service Rep for accuracy and cross check.
  • Work in tandem with Guest Experience Supervisor to resolve guest conflict quickly and fairly
  • Support GM as needed when asked; items will vary but will require timely completion
  • Oversee lease documents for accuracy; ensure guest lease files are current and organized; instruct Sales as needed if items need corrective action
  • Ensure operations inspections are complete and present in files
  • Complete file audits to make sure all required paperwork is in the files
  • Work with Accounting Dept to ensure best communication with guests needing assistance; create invoicing if needed; review OSCAR notes for best written log of details and conversations requiring operational support
  • Recommend property adjustments as they relate to unit count, relations, and site policy concerns
  • Support and advance office goals and objectives
  • Initiate better office operations; suggest new practices when needed
  • Support guest reward programs operations and accommodations for our errors or oversight in a timely manner ensuring detailed accuracy when monies are spent or allocated; alert GM of new service failures as they occur
  • Notice and suggest erosion corrections
  • Assign MTM fees; cross check NTV’s
  • Alert GM of any possible policy breaches or performance problems by staff
  • Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a motivated self-starter with a drive to succeed
  • Must be well spoken with strong presentation skills
  • Experience within the relocation, property management, or real estate industry is a plus
  • The ability to speak a second language fluently is a plus
  • Must be able to offer and implement creative solutions and resolve customer issues
  • Computer skills are a necessity
  • The employee must be able to climb stairs to inspect apartments when needed
  • The employee must have the ability to meet with customers and potential clients at their place of business when needed

All employees are expected to have knowledge of National’s business units and established procedures and compliance rules pertinent to their positions.
