About The Role

Hard Services & Compliance Coordinator

National Composites Centre

Bristol based on site most days (limited hybrid working)

Salary: £35,188 to £45,286 per annum plus 12.5% pension, private medical insurance & more

Summary:

Reporting to the Hard Services Manager and serving as an integral member of the Estates Team, the Hard Services & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for delivering services and processes that maintain Building, Equipment, and Plant within the NCC, as well as compliance record keeping. This role involves managing all Bristol University insurance inspections to ensure compliance and minimizing equipment downtime.

You will support NCC’s hard services in day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the NCC Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), creating procedures for all users, including use, inductions, and system improvements.
  • Scheduling the annual Planned Preventative Maintenance programme with the Estates Team and Zone Owners, following manufacturer and legislation guidelines.
  • Controlling and coordinating NCC’s equipment and building Asset Management.
  • Instructing and managing Estates contractors onsite, ensuring all processes and safety procedures are followed.
  • Supporting the Hard Services Manager in completing statutory actions, including Fire, Water, and DSEAR Risk Assessments.
  • Assisting with Estates-related tender and procurement processes.
  • Supporting projects related to Hard Services.
