The predicted salary is between 46600 - 71000 ÂŁ per year.

Location: Based from Bristol with frequent travel to customer sites across Somerset and Gloucestershire.

Salary: £56,641 - £70,929 depending on experience. We are seeking a Digital Transformation Advisor to help local manufacturing businesses embrace digital technologies and unlock their full potential. In this pivotal role, you will provide impartial, expert advice to manufacturers, helping them identify new opportunities, adopt emerging technologies, and implement next‐generation digital solutions that drive efficiency, productivity and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with manufacturing businesses to assess digital maturity and identify opportunities for innovation improvements.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to manufacturing businesses on adopting and integrating digital technologies.
  • Champion the adoption of digital best practices to deliver better products for less and secure long‐term growth.
  • Help organisations identify data that can be leveraged to enhance operational performance.
  • Support clients in adopting next‐generation technology solutions to remain competitive, resilient and sustainable.
  • Provide exemplary engineering documents and presentations pertinent to the audience, including business process mapping.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A strong understanding and experience of manufacturing operations, digital transformation, or industrial innovation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex digital concepts into practical business benefits.
  • Passionate about helping businesses grow sustainably, enhance efficiency and embrace digital innovation.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, automation or data analytics in a manufacturing context is highly desirable.
  • Experience in advising or consulting with businesses is desirable.

Skills and Experience:

  • Solid background in manufacturing, production or industrial engineering.
  • Strong understanding of business management principles and process improvement.
  • Experience with digital manufacturing tools and systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, PLM, CAD, MES).
  • Knowledge of automation technologies, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and deliver measurable improvements.
