Responsibilities

  • Work with young adults who have complex needs.
  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
  • Assist with planning daily tasks and practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
  • Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
  • Help plan and participate in any enjoyable days out.
  • Support individuals to become more independent wherever possible.

Qualifications

  • A UK Driving License is desirable.
  • A caring attitude, passion for supporting others, and motivation to help them achieve their goals.
  • Team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and confidence to ask for support if needed.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
