Job Overview
You will work with young adults who have complex needs, building positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together. You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands. Additionally, you will support personal care, provide assistance with eating and medication administration, and facilitate exciting days out. Your lasting impact will be helping individuals become more independent.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with young adults by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions.
- Plan and assist with daily tasks, including cooking, cleaning and running errands.
- Assist with personal care, including eating support and medication administration.
- Plan and participate in days out or leisure activities as requested.
- Support young adults to become more independent wherever possible.
