Job Description

  • Team Leader
  • Pay rate: £13.36 per hour/ £27,788.80 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
  • Working Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
  • Service: Cornerstones Palmarium

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team at Cornerstones.

At Cornerstones, we provide Supported Living support to individuals with learning disabilities, ASD and who may present behaviours that challenge.

Support is focussed around developing and maintaining daily living skills, and support to ensure they engage with the local and wider community.

We ensure that support is provided to individuals in the most person-centred way possible, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect and have meaningful choice and control in their lives every day.

You will be the front-line manager, whilst also ensuring all necessary back office duties are completed within compliance.

Responsibilities include

  • Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.
  • Leading the staff in promoting each individuals well-being, safety and quality of life.
  • Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and the progress of individuals against agreed outcome and well-being measures.
  • Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.
  • Work in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
  • Meet agreed individual annual objectives.
  • Promote each individuals well-being, safety and quality of life.
  • Responsibility for completing and reviewing internal quality compliance systems.
  • Participate in on call duties.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Has experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ideally has 6 months experience in a Team Leader Role.
  • Driving Licence essential as you will be travelling across our services.
