Job DescriptionTeam LeaderSalary: Β£13.30 per hour (Β£27,664 per annum)Working Hours: 40 hours per weekService: National Neurological ServicesWe are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team at National Neurological Services, Rosglen- based in BarnsleyRosglen NeurologicalCentre is a 6 bedded residential service providing accommodation and 24-hoursupport. We are a specialist neurological service that provides residentialsupport for adults following a brain injury or with a neurological condition.

Our progression model offers transitional, long-term residential support in awell-equipped setting.

We encourage ourindividuals to access the community, local facilities and to join in withmeaningful activities which are of an interest to keep them motivated andstimulated.

Our bedrooms arefully furnished with a kitchenette area and ensuite wet room. Everybody alsohas access to the modern communal living area which is equipped with Netflix, arange of board games, books and activities. The kitchen and dining area leadsonto our enclosed garden area which is secure and accessible for all.

The Team Leader RoleAsa Team Leader, you will promote and ensure that the company vision ofperson-centred support is implemented whilst maintaining an individualspotential and independence. You will be the front-line manager, whilst alsoensuring all necessary back office duties are completed within compliance. ATeam Leader is required to respect and work cooperatively with others, enablingthe people we support to live in their own home or within their local communitywith dignity and confidence.

Responsibilities include:

Overall responsibility for staff management and staff development.

Leading the staff in promoting each clients well-being, safety and quality of life.

Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and the progress of clients against agreed outcome and well-being measures.

Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.

Work in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.

Meet agreed individual annual objectives.

Promote each clients well-being, safety and quality of lifeResponsibility for completing and reviewing internal quality compliance systemsParticipate in on call dutiesThemost important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect,listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly andhonest.

TheIdeal CandidateSupporting adults withlearning disabilities.

Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.

Able to motivate and manage a team.
