We are currently recruiting for Support worker โ Nights to join ourteam at National Neurological Services โ Morecambe
At National Neurological Services we support people with Acquired Brain Injuriesand Neurological conditions in their rehabilitation. We strive to achievepersonal goals and endeavour to support individuals in regaining as muchindependence as possible following their injury or condition. Our ultimate aimis for individuals to be able to return home and enjoy their lives again. Hereat Primrose Neuro Rehabilitation Centre, we have capacity to support up to 7individuals through their slow stream rehabilitation.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker
You will work withindividuals who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caringindividual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil theirpotential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.
- You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
- You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
- You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administeringmedication.
- You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
- You will make a positive impact on someone\โs life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
What qualities do you need to be a great support worker?
- A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achievegoals.
- A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
- Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
