The role
You will work with young adults who have complex needs.
- Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
- Plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
- Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
- Plan and participate in any relevant days out they wish to enjoy.
- Promote independence wherever possible.
Qualities needed
- Caring attitude, passion for supporting others, motivation to help them achieve goals.
- Team player, able to work effectively with colleagues.
- Resilience and confidence to seek support when needed.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
