We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Steps Newfield View. Steps Newfield View is a part of the National Care Group and is a specialist provider working alongside people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Autism. We provide one-to-one support across 14 supporting living settings plus outreach in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As a team, we focus on tailored support to help each person achieve their individual goals and aspirations. The role of a National Care Group Support Worker: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic female support worker to provide 1:1 support for a young woman with complex physical and learning disabilities. She is a full-time wheelchair user and requires full assistance with all aspects of daily living. She is a vibrant and joyful individual who enjoys watching films, listening to music, sensory activities and going out in the community on days out to the cinema, aquariums and zoos.
As a team, we promote person-centred support and help each person to achieve their goals and aspirations by focusing on the skills they have and building upon them. We are proud that we have made a positive impact on people’s lives and have been able to see people develop their skills and confidence so they can take ownership over their own lives.
