Essential Care and Support Limited is currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Abbeyvale Care Centre, based in Hartlepool. Essential Care and Support is part of the National Care Group and is dedicated to providing person-centred care across our supported living, outreach, and day services.
Abbeyvale Care Centre is a warm and caring residential service designed to suit the needs of people with various diagnoses, including physical disabilities, symptoms of old age, dementia diagnosis, and mental health needs.

The Senior Care Assistant Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess people's support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service. The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs, and understand their emotions. Be kind, friendly, and honest.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- A minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
- Able to motivate and manage a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
