We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to joinour team in Richmond Mews, Shelton Care.
Richmond Mews is a community-based care home providing 24-hour Nursing and personal carefor individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
The homeis supported by a dedicated team of Nurses and Support worker who strive toprovide a safe and stimulating environment.
Asfinalists in the Great British Care Awards for Employer of the year 2021 we arelooking to expand our amazing teams.
We offer

- Enhanced Training that includes Induction Training, Service Specific as well asopportunities to complete a Care Certificate and NVQ/QCF
- Unlimited Refer a Friend Scheme to earn £300 per successful referral
Key Responsibilities
- Tosupervise the service within in accordance with agreed standards.
- Assistin the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the care andnursing practice.
- Assistin the assessment of the effectiveness of care and nursing implementation anddelivery.
- Implementaction to meet and maintain care and nursing standards.
- Workin cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams to maximiseopportunities for Service User therapeutic care.
- Ensurethat Service Users’ rights are protected.
- Encouragea model of self-care and Service User rehabilitation.
- Evaluate Care Plans.
- Evaluatestandards of care and nursing competence.
- Tomaintain a current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Tomaintain nursing skills at a current level, and undertake such training anddevelopment as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency ofpractice.
- Tocomply with NMC requirements for re-validation every three years.
- Toprovide leadership and out of hours support for the service.
- Toprovide nursing care in accordance with current best practice, according topolicy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevantregulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the financial plansagreed
