We are looking for passionate support workers to join our team at Apple House Summerwood – a service that supports eight people with complex needs and is full of energy and activities.
Salary: £12.36 per hour
Working hours: Full‑time hours available

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker
You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support these young adults to fulfil their potential. This can be a sometimes challenging role but with huge rewards.
- Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
- Help to plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
- Assist with personal care, including support with eating and medication administration.
- Help to plan and participate in activities and days out they wish to enjoy.
- Make a positive impact by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
What qualities do you need to be a great support worker?
- Demonstrate a caring attitude, a passion for supporting others and the motivation to see them achieve goals.
- Be a team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
- Show resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
- Have excellent listening and communication skills.
