The Team Leader Role

The Team Leader promotes and implements person‑centred support, maintains staff management and development, ensures compliance, and oversees back‑office duties. The role is critical to delivering high‑quality care within the homes.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for staff management and development.
  • Lead staff in promoting each individual's wellbeing, safety and quality of life.
  • Monitor and support the effective delivery of group and individual activities aligned with client goals.
  • Coordinate liaison with external parties to ensure clear and consistent communication.
  • Adhere to company values, policies, procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
  • Meet agreed annual objectives for individuals.
  • Complete and review internal quality compliance systems.
  • Participate in on‑call duties.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a Team Leader role.
  • Driving licence required for travel between services.
