The Commercial Manager Role
As National Care Group continues to grow and respond to the evolving challenges of our sector, we’re looking for a commercially focused leader to help shape our future. If you\\\’re passionate about delivering sustainable, impactful outcomes for the people we support—and have a strong grasp of commercial strategy and public sector commissioning—we want to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in commissioning, procurement, or commercial leadership—perhaps a Regional Commissioner or similar public sector professional looking to make a difference from the provider side.
About the role
As Commercial Manager, you’ll lead and support all commercial aspects of our operations, including:
- Business development and strategic growth planning
- Contract negotiation and lifecycle management
- Procurement and supplier governance
- Commercial viability assessments and pricing models
- Strategic account and stakeholder relationship management
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive growth and sustainability
- Lead on business cases, cost modelling, and financial planning
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tenders, and partnerships
- Manage contract performance, compliance, and renewal processes
- Support procurement governance and supplier relationship management
- Provide commercial insight to influence service design and investment decisions
You’ll work closely with operational teams, commissioners, and partners to ensure our services are commercially sound, person-centred, and aligned with local priorities.
