We are recruiting a Construction Liability Claims Technician to join our London Market Team. The team is based in London, but the role can be home‑based or flexible for the right candidate.
You will handle a mix of Employers' Liability and Public Liability construction claims, including personal injury and property damage. Claims will be managed end to end, from first notification through to settlement. There is clear scope to develop into an adjusting role within the Construction and Engineering function over time. Clients include leading construction businesses, blue‑chip corporates and brokers.
Responsibilities- Handle Employers' Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) construction claims, including personal injury and property damage.
- Manage claims end to end, from first notification to settlement.
- Identify concerns, challenge information and follow the correct procedures where fraud may be suspected.
- Prior claims handling experience with EL, PL, injury and property claims.
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
- Clear communication skills with colleagues, brokers, policyholders and claimants.
- Solid understanding of current case law, legislation and liability.
- Customer‑focused with a desire to deliver high standards of service.
- Clean driving licence, strong keyboard and MS Office skills; insurance qualifications are desirable.
