  • Lead our work on the implementation of Global Reference Portfolios in the international region, working with the International Asset Allocation Committee and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain regional model portfolios.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for technical queries on Portfolio Construction topics.
  • Build relationships with our Strategic Research, Sustainable Investment, Capital Market Assumptions and Asset Class research teams (including Private Markets).
  • Present ideas and proposals to the Global Asset Allocation Committee for approval.
  • Lead analysts in the MAT and other Mercer teams on the scoping and development of portfolio analytics to support the development of Global Reference Portfolios and managing total portfolios in a holistic manner.

What you need to have:

  • CFA and/or ability to demonstrate strong interest in financial markets, investing, portfolio construction theory and macroeconomics.
  • A wealth of experience in portfolio construction, investment specialist, asset allocation, multi‑asset private markets or similar roles.
  • An analytical mind‑set with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively and problem solve with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Ideally experience using FactSet.

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong analytical skills, an excellent understanding of investment theory, asset classes and financial markets, together with polished communication abilities.
