Nation FC is seeking experienced and passionate football coaches to join our coaching team for the 2026/27 season. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team within a growing grassroots football club committed to developing players both on and off the pitch.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing a team for the 2026/27 season
  • Planning and delivering engaging training sessions
  • Leading the team on matchdays
  • Supporting player development and progression
  • Building positive relationships with players and parents
  • Working alongside the club's coaching staff and management team
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour, discipline and professionalism
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous football coaching experience
  • Experience working with children in a sporting environment
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • FA Coaching Qualification preferred
  • Reliable, committed and organised
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for player development and grassroots football

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Coaching skills, including planning and leading training sessions and skill development
  • Leadership and mentorship abilities to guide and inspire players
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with players, staff, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of football rules, strategies, and techniques; certification in sports coaching is a plus
  • Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback for player improvement
  • Experience in youth or amateur football coaching is advantageous but not required
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment
