As Network Support Engineer, you will be aligned to a specific strategic client, supporting their Cisco Security and Networking environment. You will deliver proactive and reactive support, managing incidents, changes, upgrades, and continuous improvements to ensure stability, security, and performance. You will build a trusted relationship with the client and wider team, ensuring all issues are resolved within SLA and service excellence is consistently achieved. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on client site at least once a week in London.
The following skills and experience would make a great fit for this role:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Cisco Security and Enterprise Network environments.
- Strong hands-on experience and solid understanding of SD-WAN solutions.
- Technical expertise in Cisco ASA and Firepower firewall platforms.
- Extensive experience with Cisco ISE.
- Proficient in all Cisco VPN technologies, including clustering and high-availability configurations.
- Experience or familiarity with Cisco ACI.
- Extensive experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of IPS/IDS, including Firepower NGFW and Firepower Management Server.
- Experience or knowledge of Cloudflare DDoS.
- Experience using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and support additional Cisco technologies to enhance team capabilities.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
- Achieved or working towards CCNP certification.
Desirable:
- Exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls (Panorama or Strata Cloud Manager).
