Location: Hartlepool.

Employment: Full-time, permanent, on-site role.

Role Overview

• Receive, inspect and store incoming materials safely and accurately.
• Pick and prepare materials and finished products for production or dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Move materials and finished goods safely around the site.
• Process customer orders and ensure the correct products and quantities are prepared.
• Pack customer samples in line with the requirements of the sales team.
• Complete relevant warehouse, stock and dispatch documentation.
• Use warehouse and stock-management systems to maintain accurate records.
• Support regular stock checks and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
• Follow all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Wear the required PPE and operate equipment safely.
• Work closely with production, customer service, quality and logistics teams.
• Support the wider operation where required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications And Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• A strong understanding of safe warehouse working practices.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to complete documentation accurately.
• A reliable, practical and proactive approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence using warehouse systems or basic computer applications.
• The ability to work safely in a physically active role.
• A valid counterbalance or reach forklift-truck licence would be advantageous.
