We are now looking for a Customer Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our team at TSS.

The Role

The Customer Supply Chain Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the site’s customer order book.

Acting as the key operational link between Customer Service, Production, Planning, Warehousing and Logistics, you will ensure customer orders are accurately managed from receipt through to dispatch.

You will maintain accurate information within Oracle ERP, coordinate communication across departments and provide timely updates on order progress.

The role will play an important part in helping Natara meet customer expectations and achieve strong On Time In Full delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day management of the site’s customer order book.
  • Ensure customer orders are accurately maintained within Oracle ERP.
  • Monitor orders from receipt through to dispatch.
  • Proactively identify delays or issues that could affect customer deliveries.
  • Act as the operational link between Customer Service, Production, Planning, Warehousing and Logistics.
  • Provide regular updates on production progress, dispatch schedules and delivery commitments.
  • Liaise with Production and Planning teams to understand manufacturing priorities, constraints and order status.
  • Coordinate urgent customer requirements and changes to delivery priorities.
  • Work closely with Warehousing and Logistics to ensure finished goods are available for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate order information, inventory movements and delivery updates within the ERP system.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports covering customer orders, overdue orders, dispatch performance and OTIF performance.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of customer order issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve order management, communication and customer service processes.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in line with Natara’s health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.

About You

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who can manage changing Priorities Within a Fast-paced Operational Environment. You Should Have

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production, logistics, warehousing or customer service.
  • Experience coordinating customer orders, production schedules or logistics activities.
  • Experience working across multiple departments within a busy operational environment.
  • Previous experience using an ERP or MRP system.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • A good standard of education, including GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • A proactive approach to identifying, resolving and escalating issues.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work accurately with operational information and data.
  • The ability to remain calm, professional and resilient under pressure.
  • Oracle experience would be desirable but is not essential. Experience within a chemical batch manufacturing environment would also be advantageous.
  • A qualification in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Manufacturing would be beneficial, although relevant practical experience is equally important.
