Build your accountancy career in an industry that's growing fast.
This is a graduate trainee accountant role with a £300m turnover business operating across the UK and Europe.
You'll join a supportive finance team and gain broad exposure from day one, not get stuck doing one narrow task on repeat.
You'll work across reporting, revenue, expenditure, project accounting, forecasting and analysis, giving you a real understanding of how a large commercial business works.
For a graduate who wants to qualify as an accountant and build a long-term career in industry, this is a strong place to start.
Why this role stands out
You'll get exposure to the full business model, working with meaningful numbers across customer contracts, capital investment, major projects and commercial decision-making.
You'll receive excellent study support towards a professional accountancy qualification, with training treated as part of your development.
You'll work closely with experienced finance colleagues and a commercially involved Finance Director who is used to developing people.
You'll also gain early exposure to automation, reporting improvements and finance transformation.
What you'll be doing
You'll support:
- Financial reporting, forecasting and management information
- Revenue accounting, billing, pricing and margin analysis
- Expenditure reporting, budgets and cost analysis
- Project accounting and management accounts
- Annual statements, audit work and wider finance projects
As your confidence grows, so will your responsibility.
What you'll bring
Ideally, you'll have an Accounting & Finance, Finance & Accounting, Business & Finance or similar degree with strong accounting content.
More importantly, you'll genuinely want to train and qualify as an accountant in industry.
You'll also need strong Excel skills, good attention to detail and the confidence to work with financial data and communicate with colleagues across the business.
The honest bit
This is a busy, fast-growth environment. You'll need to learn quickly, ask good questions and take ownership of your work.
There will be deadlines, detail and plenty of Excel.
In return, you'll get broad commercial exposure and a genuine platform to build your accountancy career.
