The NASUWT is the leading trade union representing exclusively the interests of teachers and school leaders throughout the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

We are seeking an organised, reliable, and motivated Secretary/Clerical Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support in a professional environment, ensuring outstanding service delivery to colleagues, members, and stakeholders.

You will play a key role in providing administrative support across the organisation, including responding to enquiries promptly and professionally, record-keeping and document preparation, delivering exceptional customer and member care and supporting the use and maintenance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and databases.

The successful candidate will need:

  • Salary £13,164 rising to £14,655
  • 16 hours per week, working Wednesdays 1.30pm to 5.30pm, Thursdays 10.30am to 5.30pm and Fridays 10.30am to 5.30pm
  • 49 days leave inclusive of closure days and public holidays
  • Based in Birmingham
