  • 14 hours per week, 2 consecutive days per week, ie Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, Friday.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Regional Official to join the Greater London Team. Working with lay officers and Regional Officials you will provide support and advice to colleagues including assigning casework. You will be responsible for the day to day management of casework advice, support and representation services across a large region to teachers and school leaders.

You will also have responsibility for representing NASUWT members in a range of settings, including disciplinary hearings, professional regulatory proceedings and Employment Tribunals. This is a demanding role, in which you will deal with the complete range of employee relations issues, and actively promoting the Union's organising strategy. The role requires tenacity, objectivity, a good understanding of employment law and the ability to advocate successfully.
