The NASUWT is the leading Trade Union representing exclusively the interests of teachers and school leaders throughout the UK, working across all schools and sectors.

Working as part of a team, you will undertake casework up to and including employment tribunals, provide advice to NASUWT members on the terms and effect of a settlement agreement, liaise with solicitors and ensure that the Union effectively applies all relevant legislation to its activities.

You will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of employment law, and experience in providing related legal advice and guidance on behalf of workers is essential. You will also provide training and undertake policy work and represent the union at external meetings and events.

This advertised role will be:

  • Fixed term up to 10 months
  • £36,109.27 (FTE £60,182.12 per annum)
  • 21 hours per week (Working Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
  • Based in Rednal, Birmingham
