Role and Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Member Support Services Team
- Work flexibly on a rota between 8.00am – 6.30pm, according to the needs of the service
- Advise, inform and guide teachers on a wide range of matters relating to their employment and membership of the union
- Operate through a busy telephone advice line and via email
Requirements
- Knowledge of employment law or teachers' terms and conditions is essential
- Commitment to the values and ethos of Trade Unions
- Outstanding member care skills
- Experience of providing telephone advice and guidance within a legal or employment context
Contract and Location
- Salary: £41,864 per annum
- Contract type: Fixed term to 6 October 2026
- Hours: 35 per week
- Location: Based in Rednal, Birmingham – Hybrid working
