Joining a close knit team, this is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual who is looking to develop their sales skills and has a genuine interest in technology. Our Lead Generation team plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for us and now we are on the lookout for our next superstar. This role will see the individual take a strategic and proactive approach to nurturing business relationships with prospective clients. As well as building and maintaining relationships with sales teams to help successfully close deals through effective sales strategies and collaborating with other departments to achieve organisational goals. The successful person must be able to work effectively in a virtual team environment and manage their activities and workload in line with agreed OKR’s, goals or deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Prospecting: Conduct proactive outbound calls and emails to identify and qualify potential customers. Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling and social selling, to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Nurturing Campaigns: Nurture prospects without immediate needs through maintaining contact through email and social networking and sharing relevant and topical information with the potential prospect.
- Learning and Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's products and services, their features, advantages, and benefits. Effectively communicate product information to potential customers. Certify in key accreditations to build knowledge and understanding of the Hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS).
- Managing Relationships: Relationship Building with the Sellers to support the generation of sales and increase of pipeline through campaigns and working with Sellers on focussed engagements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies, promotional efforts, and product messaging.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Technology background or a passion for technology and the latest trends.
- Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a similar sales role.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
