Join us as the Product Director within our Employee Experience and HR Product team, where you will lead the charge in redefining our Global Time & Absence strategy. In this mission‑critical role, you will own the end‑to‑end employee experience for time and absence tracking—an essential function at the intersection of employee satisfaction, payroll accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
As a Product Director of time and absence within the Employee Experience and HR Product team, you will lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight employees. You will spearhead the transformation of our organization’s Global Time & Absence strategy and employee experience. In this role, you will own and lead the end‑to‑end employee experience of how our workforce tracks time and absences. This is a mission critical product domain as time and absence data sits at the intersection of employee experience, payroll accuracy, and regulatory & policy compliance - meaning the stakes for accuracy are high, and having a seamless, frictionless, and personalized employee experience is top priority.
The right leader will think in global ecosystems, navigate complexity across workforce types and geographies, and build a long‑term strategy that modernizes the employee experience for time and absence. This includes having a clear point of view on how employees interact across our surfaces of agentic‑powered chat, web, and mobile.
Job responsibilities
- Develops, communicates and owns the multi‑year product roadmap with vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets for products that support future of time and absence experience within the organization.
- Leads full product lifecycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets.
- Translate complex global requirements - including labor laws, leave entitlements, and regulatory mandates into a coherent product strategy.
- Establish and execute on framework for prioritization that balances employee experience needs with compliance obligations, and technical modernization in a sequenced and defensible way.
- Leads, coaches and mentors a product team on best practices, such as service blueprints, solution generation, market research, storyboarding, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product improvement and evolution that identify emerging trends in job architecture, skills taxonomies, and talent management.
- Direct and partner with cross‑functional teams, including operations, technology, product, data, design, corporate, legal, regulatory, and operations, to design, build, launch new experiences that streamline time and absence management.
- Leads within a highly complex, and rapidly changing environment including across the legal and regulatory space, demonstrating a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary to ensure great employee experiences and compliance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, leading across strategy and delivery of global products.
- 5+ years of people management experience; proven ability to lead, motivate, develop and inspire teams.
- Proven transformation experience across platforms, integration layers, and end customer‑facing experiences across channels.
- Experience in integrating AI capabilities into product development, with a focus on improved user experiences and driving efficiencies while reducing operational risk.
- Strong understanding of how backend systems, APIs, and middleware layers connect to and power front‑end employee experiences - and the product judgment to make decisions that span all three.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data‑driven decision‑making.
- Executive‑level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across a diverse leadership group and with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and tracking key results (KRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of products and related initiatives, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
- Proven experience in working with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, design, legal & regulatory, marketing, and operations to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure successful product development and launch.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in HR Technology, Workforce Management, or enterprise SaaS products serving large, distributed workforces.
- Direct experience in the time & absence and employee pay domain and supporting platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with ADP & Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management).
