Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plans for delivering product data that supports strategic objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting.
- Identify and document critical data elements with clear definitions and metadata to improve understanding and reuse.
- Lead publishing of curated data to the data lake and drive toward scalable, governed data products.
- Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
- Create operational procedures for data development and delivery that standardize quality and controls.
- Collaborate with partners to define, document, and socialize data usage, providing subject matter expertise on content and application.
- Partner with technology and business teams to investigate root causes of data issues and recommend remediation.
- Build relationships with data providers and consumers across Business, Technology, Analytics, Operations, Risk, and Control.
- Drive automation and innovation by identifying and executing opportunities to apply emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Six years of industry experience in a data‑related field.
- Five years of experience in technology engineering and cloud modernization for data analytics on platforms such as AWS.
- Expertise in SQL (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and strong understanding of database design and data manipulation.
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines and keep teams on track to meet goals.
- Ability to execute through strong internal partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills with solid business acumen.
- Proficiency in Python for data management, automation, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture.
- Experience with real‑time data movement in cloud environments.
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud‑native technologies.
