We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Broker to join our thriving Corporate team within Griffiths & Armour. The Corporate Broker will provide high-quality technical advice, broking, and day-to-day administrative service to our Corporate clients. This is a busy role with a high volume of work, including related administrative tasks, ensuring the highest level of service is provided and offering support to the wider Broking team. You will work with a variety of Account Executives and Directors across a range of clients.
What the day will look like:
- Provides prompt and accurate technical support.
- Access the insurer market on the client’s behalf to secure competitive terms or speedy resolution to client queries.
- Ensure that all documentation produced for the client is accurate and issued within deadlines.
- Determine broking strategy and programme design in conjunction with client service colleagues.
- Coordinate with Claims department to ensure speedy settlement of claims.
- Work in accordance with Compliance requirements on each client account; input is required.
- Assist with new business proposals.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry, with proven and consistent experience in Account Management and/or Broking.
- ACII qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential.
- A conscientious, professional person who enjoys a challenge and having responsibility for a variety of work.
- Ability to prioritise work using initiative and effectively manage time and workload.
